An exhibition celebrating Maine’s agricultural heritage

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Maine Building at The Big E, the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry and Real Maine partnered with me to develop a large-scale exhibition showcasing the state’s agricultural heritage. Working closely with stakeholders across Maine's farms, forests, and working waterfronts, I researched and curated the content strategy, I researched and curated the content strategy, identifying key crops, products, and stories to feature throughout the historic historic. My role included exhibition design and architectural mockups, content development, copywriting, hand-drawn illustration, lettering, layout, and prepress production for ten educational panels installed throughout the building. The project culminated in both an immersive interior exhibition and a 200×200" exterior wallscape designed as an evergreen asset that can be reused and adapted for future events, creating a lasting celebration of Maine agriculture for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who attend The Big E each year.
